Full-time Accounting Intern

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for various activities in the accounts payable/receivable function
• Makes adjustments to accounts as needed
• Prepares various reports for accountants
• Maintenance of accounting files
• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
• Bank reconciliation, daily cash ledger postings, assist in collections, invoicing, vendor balance reconciliation, accounts payable and other ad-hoc jobs as assigned
• Assist the Accounting Sr. Associate with the day-to-day, month-end operations of the Accounting Department including month-end closing
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the team

Qualifications

Qualification and Skills:

• General interest in Accounting, Finance, Economics a MUST
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Great professionalism and communication (oral/written) skills
• Bilingual English and Korean Preferred
